Trustees

For A CURE Foundation is a trust, a fiduciary arrangement with the trustees managing property and exercising powers for the benefit of others (a charitable purpose organisation).

For A CURE Foundation is Tax Exempt and a Deductible Gift Recipient.

TRUSTEES

The trustees are made up of four passionate individuals that strongly believe in the benefits of stem cell research for Cancer.

angie Trustees
Angie Cleone - Chairman of the Foundation, Angie Cleone is a successful businesswoman that worked both nationally and internationally. As a cancer survivor, Angie is passionate about fighting this disease. Her enthusiasm for cancer stem cell research is due to her brother’s research on the topic.
john Trustees
Prof. John Kearsley – Professor Kearsley is currently the Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at St George Hospital and the Professor of Medicine (Conjoint), at the University of NSW and University of Wollongong.

Dr. Prem Kumar – Dr Prem Kumar is an accomplished Consultant General Surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery. Dr Kumar also represents the Australian College of Surgeons on the interview board for the appointment of surgeons in training in NSW.

Michael Kitmiridis – As a successful ambassador of the Australian Greek community Michael is the former Mayor of Kogarah. Passionate about cancer research, Michael recently led fundraising efforts to help bring St George Hospital cancer treatment into the 21st century. His efforts allowed the purchase of a $1.1 million new CT radiotherapy simulator expected to help 250,000 cancer sufferers over the next 10 years. A further $650,000 was raised for the St George Cancer Care Centre for cancer research.
